From Adriano Manocchia’s Studio: Time to Give Thanks And Celebrate

I cannot believe that it’s already November and that Thanksgiving is already behibd us… These last few months have passed me by in a blur. Since our son and his bride’s lovely wedding last September, we have had family and friends visiting and sharing with us the joy of this event. However, I was also left with precious little time at the easel. As I’m wrapping up my last outdoor chores before hunkering down for Winter, I’m actually looking forward to spend my days in the studio working on new paintings.

In the meantime, I thought you might like to see what my brush was up to of late. Since it is also the start of the “season to be giving…” (or “receiving”.. who’s to say???), you might find right here that perfect gift, the one that will last for years to come and even become a family heirloom.

The three plein air pantings below are the results of my summer wonderings in the wilderness. They are intimate water portraits that I always find so fascinating. I hope you will also.
