My Artwork Featured at Italian Fy Fishing Show and in Southern Trout Magazine
I hope you are enjoying a great Summer of outdoor fun. I wanted to share with you some recent happenings that I’m really proud of.
One of my paintings “A Good Hiding Place” was featured in the latest issue of Southern Trout Magazine. The issue can be viewed online at http://www.southerntrout.com and you can find my image on page 76. It was used to illustrate an article by Don Howell. The editor Don Kirk did a great job with this amazing publication. I’m certain you will enjoy leafing though the magazine.
One of my more recent paintings “The Perfect Day” was instead chosen as the poster and catalog cover image for the 12th annual exhibition “L’Arte della Pesca, La Pesca nell’Arte – The Art of Fishing, Fishing In Art” an international invitational art show curated by artist and organizer Lino Alviani. This art show which takes place in the picturesque city of Castel di Sangro in the Abruzzi region of Italy, is associated with the SIM Fly Fishing Festival, a week long event in which angling competitions, schools, fly tying, fly fishing fair, and award distributions take place. The city nestled within the fantastic National Park of Abruzzi is also home of the International Fly Fishing Museum Stanislao Kuckiewicz. It is a truly remarkable place to visit especially if you enjoy fly fishing. I’ve been fortunate in the past to play some of the most incredible native trout right there in the Sangro River and I’m looking forward to my future visits.
Enjoy the bounty of Summer,
Adriano
